Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix and flour. Stir until well mixed.
Add in the eggs and vegetable oil. Stir until a soft dough forms. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9-11 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
