Biscuits
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

  3. Add grated/chilled butter to flour mixture and toss to coat and separate all the pieces of butter.

  4. Pour in buttermilk and mix to combine. (It will be dry, but try not to overwork the dough - when rolling the dry bits can be incorporated.)

  5. Turn dough out onto countertop. Roll and pat into rectangle. Fold in half from one of the ends; roll and pat back into a large rectangle. Do this same roll, pat, fold action 4 or 5 times.

  6. Cut into 8 pieces. If biscuits are too thin, fold them in half one last time and place on baking sheet.

  7. Bake 30 minutes.
