Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the mixture.
Gradually mix in flour until well combined. Knead for 5 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces (or 6 for larger buns) and roll into bun shapes.
Place the buns onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover and let rest while the oven preheats.
Bake for 11 minutes at 400°F.
Brush with butter and cut to fill with your favorite ingredients.
