Hit Sauté and let the pot heat up.
Add oil, then add the onion and cook the onions until they are a translucent color.
Add garlic, and mix together.
Next add the rice. Sauté mixture for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Continue until rice becomes a light golden color.
Add the tomato sauce, tomatoes, cumin, and broth and mix together well.
Switch the Instant Pot to the Rice mode and cook for 12 minutes with the steamer vent set to seal.
When the time is up, do a quick release to let the steam out.
