Heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Pan sear shrimp 1-2 mins until just pink, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Remove and set aside.
Lower heat, add another tbsp olive oil & garlic.
Sauté 30 seconds till fragrant.
Stir in Calabrian chili paste and sauté another 30 seconds.
Add cherry tomatoes and cook down 3-5 mins, stirring occasionally.
Pour in white wine, simmer 2-3 mins until slightly reduced.
Stir in the orzo, toast 1 minute.
Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and simmer 10-15 mins, stirring frequently until tender.
Adding additional broth as needed.
Stir in parmesan cheese & basil.
Return shrimp and toss till warmed through.
Serve with extra parm and basil and enjoy!
