Place 2 Cups redbud blossoms in a heatproof bowl or jar.
Pour 1 Cup Boiling Water over the blossoms. Let steep 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Strain the liquid into a saucepan; discard blossoms.
Add 1 Cup Sugar and heat over low, stirring until dissolved.
Stir continuously and bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
Stir in 1-2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (brightens color and preserves).
Let cool to room temperature, then funnel into a clean bottle or jar.
