Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and grated lemon peel.
Open the package of crescent rolls, separate the dough into 8 individual triangles, and spoon cream cheese lemon mixture onto each triangle.
Roll up the crescents, seal the seams, place on the baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and bake for 11–14 minutes.
Make the lemon glaze by combining powdered sugar and lemon juice, then drizzle over the warm crescent rolls and garnish with fresh lemon peel.
