Easy Japanese After-work Dinner : Chicken Steak
  1. Pat the chicken dry

  2. Flatten it evenly

  3. Coat both sides with (A)

  4. Stretch the skin tight

  5. Place skin-side down in a cold pan (no oil)

  6. Add a weight on top

  7. Cook on medium-low heat for about 10 min until crispy

  8. Flip and cook for about 2 min

  9. Cover with foil and let it rest

  10. Add (B) to a pan and simmer until slightly thickened

  11. Turn off the heat and melt the butter

  12. Serve with the sauce
