Slice cabbage in thin long strips
Place cabbage on baking sheet heavily drizzled with oil
Season with salt and pepper
Roast at 350°F for 20 minutes or until wilted and browned on edges, tossing occasionally
In a skillet, add chopped bacon and cook until starting to crisp
Add chopped onion and cook on low heat until bacon is crispy and onion is translucent
Remove grease from skillet
Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds
Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper
Allow sauce to simmer until slightly thickened
Add roasted cabbage to sauce and toss to coat
Add more salt and pepper to taste
If sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water or cream
Serve warm
