Pre-heat oven to 150°C/300°F (fan-forced)
Combine dry ingredients on a large baking tray or over 2 trays in a thin layer so it can crisp well. If it’s a deep layer it will steam rather than bake so this is important.
Place the syrup ingredients in a pot and gently heat over a low heat, to just combine stirring well.
Pour over the dry and toss to combine well so the dry ingredients are well coated in the syrup.
Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or until golden and crunchy.
With milk, yoghurt or fresh fruit.
Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
