Scrub the potatoes.
Poke each potato 5-6 times with a fork.
Place directly onto the microwave plate.
Microwave on high: 1 potato = 5-6 min; 2 = 10-11 min; 4 = 15-16 min.
Check doneness by gently squeezing should give easily.
If needed, cook in 1-minute increments until soft.
Slice open, fluff with fork, and add toppings.
Serve warm.
