Perfectly Smooth Hummus
  1. First you want to gently boil the chickpeas with the bicarbonate of soda until they're soft - about 15-20 mins.

  2. Drain and rinse then place in a bowl of water - this makes it easier to remove the skins as they just float to the top of the water.

  3. Once you've removed most of the skins, drain the chickpeas and add to a food processor with all the other ingredients except the ice.

  4. Blend until it's fairly smooth.

  5. At this point you want to start adding ice cubes and carry on blending until it gets suuuuuuuuper smooth.

  6. Garnish and ENJOY.
