Get your pasta water boiling and add 1-2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of chicken flavored bouillon. Cook just under al dente (take about 1 minute off of package directions for al dente). Do not drain it when it is done.
When the pasta has about 6 minutes of cooking time left, melt the butter in a skillet over low/medium heat.
Add in the garlic and cook just until fragrant, about 1 minute, be very careful not to burn it.
Stir in one cup of the pasta water along with the lemon juice.
Add the pasta and a little bit of the parmesan in. Stir it quickly so that the cheese doesn't clump up. Add the cheese a little at a time and do it over low heat. This will take about 8-10 minutes. Just be patient and don't rush this step.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and parsley if desired.
If the sauce is not a smooth, creamy consistency, add more pasta water in ½ cup at a time until it gets that way. Serve hot and enjoy!
