Soak dates in hot water for 5–10 minutes if firm, then drain
Blend all ingredients until completely smooth (at least 60–90 seconds)
Pour into a lined 8x8 pan and sprinkle lightly with flaky salt
Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes, until the top looks set and the center barely jiggles
Cool completely at room temperature
Refrigerate for 3–4 hours or overnight to fully set before slicing
