Blueberry loaf cake with sugar glaze
  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan and line with baking paper.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  4. Gradually mix in flour mixture alternately with milk. Fold in blueberries gently.

  5. Pour batter into the pan. Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Cool completely. Mix sugar glaze and lemon juice; drizzle over the top.

  7. Garnish with extra blueberries or lemon slices for a fresh look.
