In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in orzo and toast for 1-2 minutes.
Add chicken broth, heavy cream, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the orzo is tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked sausage. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
