Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Into a greased 9x13 casserole dish add in all of the ingredients in order, using a whisk to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes, or until most the liquid is absorbed into the rice. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the remaining moisture to be absorbed.
Sprinkle with extra parmesan cheese if desired and serve.
