Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles
  1. Cook the Noodles: Start by boiling your noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set them aside. Toss them with a splash of sesame oil to prevent sticking.

  2. Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet or wok, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat. Break it up with a spoon as it cooks. Once browned and no longer pink, drain any excess grease.

  3. Add Garlic and Optional Ginger: Add the minced garlic (and ginger if using) to the beef. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Stir in the Sauce Ingredients: Add soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to coat the beef in the sauce. Let everything simmer for 3–5 minutes.

  5. Toss in the Noodles: Add your cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.

  6. Garnish and Serve: Transfer to bowls and sprinkle with sliced green onions. Serve hot.
