Wash the rice
Instant Pot- Add 1 cup rice, salt, grated ginger and 7 cup water in the instant pot. Select the rice porridge setting, and click on start.
Pressure Cooker - If you are using a pressure cooker then wait for at least 4 whistles.
Pot - You can boil it directly on the stovetop until you get desired consistency. The porridge is ready to serve.
Serving instructions
Take 2 cups of porridge in a bowl
Add 1 Tbsp Seasme oil (as per your taste)
Add 1 Tbsp Soya sauce
Add chopped spring onions around 1 Tbsp
Sprincle some black sesame
