  1. Mix cream cheese bark ingredients until fully smooth

  2. Spread bark mixture into a ½–¾ inch layer

  3. Freeze bark 30–60 minutes, then chop and keep frozen

  4. Whisk together dry ingredients for cookie dough

  5. Mix cold butter and sugars until just combined, do not over mix

  6. Add egg, egg yolks, vanilla, and red food coloring until just combined

  7. Add dry ingredients half at a time and mix until just combined

  8. Fold in frozen cream cheese bark and optional white chocolate chunks

  9. Freeze dough 2-3 hours

  10. Bake at 350°F for 15-18 minutes until edges are set and centers stay soft
