Stir in the chopped broccoli and half the shredded cheese, folding gently to keep broccoli intact.
Pour mixture into the greased dish, smoothing it into an even layer. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until golden on top and set in the center.
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
