Oily Toor dhall
Garlic
Asafoetida
Dried chilli flakes.
Cook the dhall simply in salty water I like it very well done and soft.
In a separate pan fry garlic chilli flakes with a little asafoetida. Add this mixture and the oil you fried it in to the cooked dhall and stir.
Very simple and tasty.
