In a medium bowl, add ½ cup mayonnaise and ¼ cup sour cream.
Stir in 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Add 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons prepared horseradish and ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Mix in ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
Stir thoroughly until the sauce is creamy and evenly colored.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
Serve with onion petals, onion rings, fries, chicken, shrimp, or as a burger sauce.
