Grandpa's Hearty Beef And Vegetable Slow Cooker Stew
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat

  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned

  3. Drain excess grease

  4. Add diced potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker

  5. Spoon in the cooked beef

  6. Add diced tomatoes with juice, tomato paste, and beef broth

  7. Stir in thyme, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce

  8. Mix gently to combine

  9. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours, or HIGH for 4–5 hours

  10. Stew is ready when vegetables are tender and flavors are well blended

  11. Stir in frozen peas during the last 15 minutes of cooking

  12. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed

  13. Serve and enjoy
