Heat a large frying pan on medium heat and cook the bacon, garlic and onion for a few minutes until the bacon starts to crisp-up then tip everything into the slow cooker.
Add the mince to the frying pan, increase the heat to high and cook for a few minutes until it's brown then add it to the slow cooker too.
Add all of the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker, stir then cover with the lid and cook for 6-8 hours on low.
