Jerk Seasoned Soya Protein Chunks
  1. Place the soya chunks in a bowl and cover them with vegetable stock, ensuring they are fully submerged in the liquid. Cover with a plate or lid and leave to soak for 15 minutes.

  2. Once softened, drain the soya chunks in a sieve. Use your hands to squeeze out as much excess liquid as possible.

  3. Transfer the drained soya chunks to another bowl. Add the olive oil, jerk seasoning, mixed herbs, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix well until evenly coated.

  4. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium to high heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Alternatively you can cook them in the air fryer at 180C for 10 mins.

  5. Enjoy as you wish, or let them cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for later use.
