In a bowl, combine warm water, instant yeast, and sugar. Give that a good mix and let sit for 5 minutes, until frothy.
Add in all purpose flour, and salt. Mix that all really well until a shaggy dough forms.
Transfer to a flat surface and knead until you have a smooth dough ball, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, cover and allow to rise for 45 minutes.
In the meantime, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and melt butter. Pour ½ of your melted butter onto the parchment paper.
To the other half of butter, add minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
Once your dough has risen, transfer it to your baking sheet, and use your hands to spread it flat the size of the sheet. Turn to coat both sides in the butter.
Once it has filled the sheet, pour the garlic and herb butter onto top, and spread across the entire dough. Finally, top with shredded Parmesan, then cover and allow to rise for another 15 minutes.
Once puffy, cut your dough into breadstick shapes whatever size you like. (Do not pull them apart, just cut them). Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes or until golden.
Allow to cool slightly and enjoy with some homemade marinara sauce!
