Cauliflower Rice

    Instructions

  1. Prep the Cauliflower

    Remove the leaves and cut the cauliflower into florets.

    Wash and pat dry. It’s essential to dry the cauliflower well to prevent sogginess.

  2. Rice the Cauliflower

    Using a Food Processor:

    Add the florets to the food processor in small batches.

    Pulse until the cauliflower resembles rice or couscous in texture. Be careful not to over-process, or it will turn mushy.

    Using a Box Grater:

    Grate the florets on the coarse side of the grater to achieve a rice-like texture.

  3. Cook the Cauliflower Rice

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the riced cauliflower to the skillet.

Sauté for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender. You can adjust the cooking time based on how soft you want it.

Season with salt, pepper, or any other desired spices (e.g., garlic powder, curry powder, or turmeric for an extra kick).

Optional Variations

Add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice for freshness.

Mix in herbs like parsley or cilantro for added flavor.

Incorporate diced onions, garlic, or chopped veggies like bell peppers for a more complex side dish.
