Grandma Baker's caesar dressing

½ cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise

¼ cup milk (I generally use about an ⅛ of a cup so as to have a thicker dressing)

2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon Dijonnaise Creamy Mustard – I use Dijon mustard if there’s no Dijonnaise available

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 clove garlic, crushed

¼ teaspoon pepper

Combine all ingredients and whisk together. Cover and store in the refrigerator.

Wash romaine lettuce leaves. Tear into bowl. Add croutons and shredded parmesan cheese – not grated, if you wish. Toss with some of the salad dressing, when you are ready to serve it.
