Freeze two teaspoons of vermouth and one teaspoon of water together to create an ice cube.
Place the vermouth and water ice cube into a frozen martini glass.
Add 3 and ½ oz of gin to the glass.
Let the ice cube sit for about 2 minutes to begin melting and releasing vermouth.
Add olives (with pits) as a garnish.
Take the first sip when the ice cube has been in for about 2 minutes.
