Hake Loins With Bacon Recipe | Food From Portugal
  1. Wrap a bacon slice on each hake loin. Place the loins on a baking dish and season with salt, nutmeg, oregano, unpeeled tomatoes cut into quarters, onion cut into quarters and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil and let marinate about 1 hour.

  2. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).

  3. Bake until the bacon start to turn slightly golden, about 45 to 50 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the fish with the sauce.

  4. Turn off the oven and serve the fish with white rice or fries.
