Homemade Sour Cream
  1. Combine heavy whipping cream, butter and vinegar or lemon juice in a jar. Or combine heaving whipping cream and buttermilk in a jar.

  2. Cover jar and shake to incorporate.

  3. Take lid off and cover with a paper towel and rubber band.

  4. Let jar sit out at room temperature for 12 - 24 hours.

  5. Stir and refrigerate for up to a week.
