Cut peppers and tomatoes in half
In a baking dish add bell peppers, tomatoes, onion, and garlic
Sprinkle Italian seasoning and olive oil and roast in the oven at 375 degrees F for about 20-25 minutes until slightly charred
In a blender jar add the roasted vegetables, heavy whipping cream, Calabrian chilis and blend till smooth
Cook your pasta saving a cup of pasta water
To a pan add the sauce and cook it. Season with salt, cayenne or paprika, and parsley
Once the sauce has thickened add in some pasta water
Add in your cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, and stir until well coated
Sprinkle fresh basil, chili flakes, and more Parmesan cheese and serve while hot
Perfect with a salad and warm garlic bread
