Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch pan and line with parchment if desired. Mix cake batter following box directions. Pour into pan and smooth the top.

  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add peanut butter, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar until thick and glossy.

  3. Drop tablespoon-sized dollops of swirl mixture onto cake batter. Swirl gently 3–4 times in a figure-eight motion to create the 'earthquake' effect.

  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups evenly over the top.

  5. Bake 42–46 minutes, until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.

  6. Cool at least 45 minutes before slicing. Serve slightly warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle of fudge.
