Beat together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Whisk in the egg yolks and vanilla extract.
Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl before adding to the egg, butter and sugar mixture. Then add the chocolate chips.
Chill the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes or in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
Form the dough into small balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F (176°C)!
