Start by cooking the noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
Finely slice one small green cabbage and one yellow onion.
Melt 5 tablespoons of butter in the frying pan over a medium heat.
First add the onion, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 5 minutes until soft, stirring often.
Add the cabbage, season with salt and pepper, then mix well with the onion.
Cover with a lid, reduce the heat to low, and cook for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the noodles are cooked, drain them, reserving one ladleful of the cooking liquid.
Mix the noodles with the cabbage. Add one ladle of the cooking liquid and the remaining tablespoon of butter. Gently stir everything together for about one minute over a low heat.
Adjust the seasoning if needed, then serve!
