Limoncello easy liqueur
  1. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the yellow pith only from the lemon.

  2. Place lemon and alcohol into a jar. Place jar into a cool dark place and give it a shake every couple of days. Total time to soak rind is two weeks.

  3. Gently heat the water and sugar until the sugar dissolves.

  4. Cool the syrup.

  5. Add the strained steeping alcohol.

  6. Bottle the resultant limoncello.
