Feed your sourdough starter as though you were going to bake with it
Spread the starter onto two pieces of parchment and let it dry at room temperature
Break the dried starter into small chips and store it in an airtight container
To revive the starter, mix it with lukewarm water and let it dissolve
Feed the dissolved starter with flour and let it become bubbly
Feed the starter again and wait for bubbles to form
Discard all but 4 ounces of the starter and feed it with water and flour
Let the starter become bubbly and it is ready to be used for baking
