Remove the stems from the mint leaves and chop them up.
In a jar, layer equal parts of chopped mint leaves and sugar.
Add the juice of 3-5 lemons and press gently.
Close the lid and refrigerate for 48 to 72 hours, mixing it once a day.
Feel free to add extra lemon or water to help the liquefying along.
Strain and store in the fridge.
In about 6-8 quarts of water, bring to a boil.
Off the heat, add in 1-2 (or more) boxes of your favorite tea.
Let that steep completely, then add in around 4-5 cups of mint leaves.
Press them in and let them steep as well.
Strain everything and refrigerate.
Once the syrup is ready, pour yourself a glass of mint tea and add syrup.
