Combine the flour with the clove powder
Place the sugar and water in a saucepan on low heat. Let the sugar dissolve.
Once the sugar starts to boil, turn off the flame and add all the flour. Stir with a wooden spoon. Let the mixture cool down a bit.
Transfer to a working surface and knead into a compact dough.
Form the dough into a log.
Cut the log into equal pieces each measuring around 3 cm.
Place pieces on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Cover and let dry for 1 to 2 days.
Bake in a preheated oven at 320 F for 20 minutes.
