Add water, milk, and butter into a saucepan and bring to a boil (do not follow the measurements on the package, use the measurements here, we are reducing the package water significantly)
Add knorr pasta and let boil for 7 minutes stirring occassionally.
Brown a lb of ground beef and drain, add pasta sauce and italian seasoning. let simmer until pasta is ready.
Layer ½ of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish, followed by ½ a cup of mozzarella cheese, ½ of the cooked alfredo pasta.
Then the rest of the meat sauce, the rest of the alfredo, and another ½ to 1 cup of mozzarella.
Bake at 400 for 20 minutes and if desired broil for a few minutes to brown up the top.
Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
