VANILLA ICE CREAM
Add heavy cream to a chilled metal bowl. Whisk heavy cream with a electric hand mixer until soft peaks form.
Add in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
Continue to whisk until all ingredients are incorporated.
Fold in any additional mix in ingredients with a spatula.
Pour the ice cream base into a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for 5 hours, or until frozen solid.
CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM
In the largest glass measuring cup, combine chocolate and sweetened condensed milk.
Microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each, until melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
Using the cold metal bowl, add in heavy whipping cream. Beat with an electric hand mixer until the cream begins to form firm peaks.
Fold a large spoonful of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture to thin it out.
Fold the chocolate mixture back into the whipped cream mixture until just combined, being careful not to over-mix, which will deflate the whipped cream. Stir in additional mix in ingredients.
Pour into a loaf pan. Cover and freeze.
