Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until you have a thick but pourable batter
Fully preheat the waffle maker for 3–5 minutes until the indicator light goes off
Oil the hot plates by adding ½–1 tsp oil to a folded paper towel and wiping both top and bottom plates lightly with a thin sheen
Add 2 tablespoons of batter to a mini waffle maker and close gently without pressing down
Allow the batter to expand and set naturally without pressing
Re-oil between waffles as needed
Serve with savory toppings such as eggs, vegetables, or protein
