Mango Sticky Rice Musubi
  1. Soak sticky rice (sweet rice) for at least 2 hours in warm water

  2. Drain and add it to a steamer and cook for about 30 min until soft

  3. Make your coconut syrup by adding coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a pot and stir until all the sugar is dissolved

  4. Remove rice from steamer and add to a bowl.

  5. Add ⅔ of your coconut syrup into the rice and mix

  6. Add the rice back to the steamer for another 15 minutes

  7. Make a coconut dipping sauce by adding 1tbs of cornstarch to the leftover syrup and stirring until combined

  8. Now just BRIEFLY wet some rice paper on all surfaces and begin layering in your Musbi mold

  9. Rice, then mango, and an optionally sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds

  10. Press everything down then wrap it up and slice it in half

  11. Then a final wrap in some plastic wrap to get everything all nice and tight together
