Red Beans And Rice
  1. Dice onion, peppers, celery.

  2. In a pan or wok, cook the turkey bacon until starting to brown, then add sliced sausage. Remove from pan.

  3. Add a knob of butter, then cook the veggies over medium heat to get a nice browning and they will soften as well.

  4. Throw in your smoked turkey leg into the pan, add 4 cups of water, cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes.

  5. Add in your beans, seasonings, and meats. Cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.

  6. Smash beans the little to get a creamier texture!

  7. Enjoy with white rice and corn bread!
