Combine butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
Slowly incorporate flour, baking powder, and salt.
Once fully combined, stop mixing immediately to avoid over mixing it - this batter is very thick like cookie dough.
Place into baking dish and flatten out till it covers the whole bottom.
Beat the cream cheese till smooth, then add butter, eggs, and vanilla.
Once fully combined, slowly add powdered sugar.
Spread mix on top of the first batter and smooth out, then top with ½ C sliced almonds.
Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
Once fully cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
