Creamy Beef Pasta
  1. In a Dutch oven over medium-low heat, add some olive oil.

  2. Add the onion, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the onion is tender.

  3. Add the garlic and cook until you can smell it, less than a minute.

  4. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Brown the beef.

  5. Make room in the middle of the pan for the tomato paste and cook it for a few minutes.

  6. Bring everything together.

  7. Add the beef broth and heavy cream, and bring to a light boil.

  8. Add the pasta shells, lower the heat to a simmer, and cook for 16 minutes.

  9. Add the cheddar cheese.

  10. Taste and season as desired.

  11. This would be a good time to toss in some butter.

  12. Garnish with chives.
