Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens.
Return shrimp to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce. Simmer for another 2 minutes until heated through.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Pair with pasta, rice, or crusty bread for a complete meal.
