Heat milk and let cool to lukewarm.
Meanwhile, In a large bowl add warm water, sugar, yeast, and stir. Let sit covered for 5-10 minutes or until yeast Is active and bubbly.
Stir In egg, butter, salt, and warm milk.
Add flour and knead for 3-5 minutes.
Place dough In a greased bowl and let cover until doubled, approx. 1 hour.
Punch dough down and divide Into 2. Roll each half Into a circle about 10" In diameter and cut Into 8 wedges. Roll up each wedge tightly beginning at the wide end.
Place rolls on parchment lined baking sheet and curve Into crescent shape. Cover and let ride another 30-45 minutes until nice and puffy.
Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Top with melted butter (add a little bit of maple syrup to the melted butter to make them more of a sweet roll)
