Stuffed French Toast
  1. Prepare the cream cheese filling: Combine cream cheese and honey or maple syrup in a mixing bowl. Fold in strawberries.

  2. In a shallow dish or casserole dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

  3. Take a slice of bread and spread a generous amount of the strawberry cream cheese filling on one side. Place another slice of bread on top, creating a sandwich. Repeat to make 4 sandwiches.

  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter.

  5. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture for 5 seconds or so, making sure both sides are well-coated. Let the excess drip off and place the stuffed French toast on the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh strawberries, or powdered sugar.
